Almost the end of July and half of 2007 passed. So quick!
Next month I will start work again, hope everything will be ok. After a little bit long time, now I am back to a normal life, just like all the other persons, I do not know wheather I will like it or not...
Well, weather is good but too too too hot now, almost 40 degrees again,still need one month then it will get cooler... but I am not here.
Dreaming about a cooler season.
Luckily the hotel where I stayed in Shanghai, they have a north korean restaurant, probably the first one in Shanghai. The waitress are all from North Korea and they spoke some funny accent Chinese.
The restaurant was quite popular, we have to wait for seat, because they also have some korean traditional dancing and singing...
Food was quite good, spicy, actually I did not think it was so different from the south korean one. But the atmosphere is quite different, especially they have some exhibition for north korean painter, on the wall of the restaurant the big oil paintings are showing the factory and some scenary of north korea... oh, still quite much like China 40 years ago when chairman Mao still alive, how the people dress and have meetings...
I have to say to eat there not only for the food, also it was quite a culture experience...
Last week I had many days spent in Shanghai, a big modern city of China. I had some quite successful training, met some interesting persons, shopping alot in the big city.
I like Shanghai, the feeling is different from Beijing, but they two some how has some similar things- big buildings, many young people work in foreign companies, busy subways and also behind the big shining buildings you always could find some shallow dirty small buildings where people really live in. Like in the US, there are different parts of the city, some are good and rich people could go to shop or live, some part just normal people and bargin with the vendors on the street...
Is this real China? In big cities especially in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen like this? Last week I also watched the news about the baozi thing, they said it was fake and the journalist already been put into jail, is it fake? Is it so fun to fake this kinda things?
Few days ago, I saw a news that in the suburb of Beijing, some people use carton box mixed with fat meat make Bao zi(kinda stuffed bread). What? paper and fat meat together? I could not imagine how they could sell this kinda things to people and see others eating it while themselves even not eat it.
What our society is going to do about this? just stop this one is not enough, there will be such kinda things again and again, this time is food then next time it will be something else. What make all these people think? money? Are their life goal is just getting money?
I have seen so much this kinda things on TV nowadays, just feel confused, are these things neccessary to happen in this time? I mean on our way to the communism...
Lots of problem happened, the society really has to think...
Now I have accepted a job, start the working life again. But I will continue to study since I like the programming and making webpages...
I will start the job from next month, so I still have pretty much time to study, try hard to study, and maybe while working also study.
The weather here is so hot, but I still go to the school every afternoon, under the big hot sunshine, feeling is different, somewhat I do not feel it is so hot sometimes, then I feel much cool down. Like the chinese saying "xin jing zi ran liang" which means if your heart/mind is cool down,then it will not be hot any more.
I think I already passed the age that easy to get "hot", instead I am trying or already become more mature after all these years. It is good, people are all growing up...
It is July now, half year already passed. Summer is here and it is getting very hot now, well, it will be much more hot later on.
I am get used to the Finnish summer, sunshine but not too hot, everyone enjoy the only two monthes for the sunshine...
Last weekend, I took the dragon boat at night around Xi hu (West lake). The weather was clear so I could see quite far and it was really beautiful, lights on the hills also around the lake, night wind was so gentle, at that moment I felt the beauty of the lake and also the quiet part of the city...
Now back to the normal busy life,working hard under the heat!
